ABSTRACT

Throughout the last few chapters we have introduced some of the more common topics in applied statistical inference, such as multiple regression and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). However, these topics only scratch the surface of the number of different topics that can be used to make an inference about an unknown population parameter of interest. In this chapter, we will describe some more advanced topics, such as twoway ANOVA, nonparametric statistics, and basic time series analysis.
