ABSTRACT
Tumours of the cerebellopontine angle (CPA) account for approximately 10 per cent of all intracranial tumours. Of these, the majority (80 per cent) are vestibular schwannomas. The remainder comprise tumours originating from the structures within the CPA, embryological remnants, lesions extending from the brain and skull base, and metastatic deposits.
