ABSTRACT

Most animals with urological presenting signs can be divided into those presenting primarily with dysuria, haematuria, urinary incontinence or frequency/urgency. The main conditions leading to

these signs are listed in Tables 1-5. Some sex predispositions are obvious (e.g. prostatic disease), but symbols based on the author’s experiences appear alongside conditions potentially responsible for the urological signs; m = commoner in male animals; f = commoner in female animals; n = no apparent sex predisposition.
