Densities and Refractive Indices of the Binary Systems

There is an increased interest in the thermodynamic behavior of liquid mixtures. In this way, a considerable amount of work has been carried out in the last years on the experimental determination of the density and refractive index of binary and ternary mixtures, and the corresponding excess molar volume and change in refractive index (Al-Jimaz et al., 2005; Francesconi et al., 2000; Joshi and Aminabhavi, 1990; Orge et al., 2000; Viswanathan et al., 2000).
