ABSTRACT
Profiling is the act of monitoring an application’s run in order to understand how much time is spent by the program and its internal components.46 Profiling an application is extremely important when we wish to diagnose and improve a program in terms of performance. It is worth repeating the well-known adage that whatever cannot be monitored and measured, cannot really be improved.
