Management is simply the action of managing. It is a noun, but the verb ‘manage’ (and its derivatives ‘manages’, ‘managing’ and ‘managed’) means:
• to be in charge of people or an organisation • to succeed in doing something • able to cope despite diffi culties • to control the use of money and other resources.
