ABSTRACT
Commercial acrylonitrile-vinyl chloride processes are often run in batch fashion, but with incremental addition of acrylonitrile to maintain uniform composition through the long batch cycle. Additional difficulties in the process are molecular weight control and separation of the toxic unreacted monomer.
