In actual powder, the void fraction is changing with the particle size. 1 As shown in Figure 5.1, the void fraction shows the constant value
pc , and below this size, the void fraction increases with decrease in the particle size. Roller 2 proposed the following equation as a relationship between the void fraction and particle size.
