Industries can be classi”ed on the basis of raw materials, size, and ownership. They may be agriculture based, marine based, mineral based, and forest based on the basis of raw materials; they can be classi”ed as small, medium, and large on the basis of size; private sector, state owned or public sector, joint sector, and cooperative sector on the basis of ownership.
