1. INTRODUCTION
Laser technology has evolved over the past few decades to become the treatment of choice
for many types of scars and striae. Various laser treatments have been shown to improve
the appearance and symptomatology of hypertrophic scars, keloids, striae, and atrophic
scars; but determining the appropriate use of this technology comes with experience.
