ABSTRACT
In most experiments, the experiment is designed, then carried out, and only after completion are the accumulated data evaluated. It is thus possible to predict the amount of data that will be amassed even before experimentation has been started. Such experiments are therefore called fixed sample tests. A disadvantage of such a design is that a significant result could remain unnoticed until data collection is complete.
