Answer: (d) Though uncommon, clinically significant subcapsular hematoma can occur after SWL. Often, these patients present with extreme flank pain though they are clinically otherwise stable. Evaluation should include ultrasound or CT scan to evaluate for this condition, but only conservative management and observation are typically required.
