Written copies of exam results, tests done, and medical diagnosis must be provided to employer and employee. In addition, both parties should receive written recommendations from the examining physician regarding limited use of

respirators and other types of PPE and a statement outlining employee awareness of special conditions. Examination costs and regular employee wages for the time spent during examination must be borne by the employer. Records of all medical information given or received under this rule must be maintained by the employer for 30 years.
