ABSTRACT
At the top of the small list comprised of names associated with some of the greatest achievements in science and the arts are Aristotle, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Newton, and Einstein. You may have noticed that one name has been left off this list-Archimedes. While Archimedes may be recognized as one of the greatest geniuses of all time, many are confused about what he actually did. As Stein points out, all we may well remember is, "Something about running naked out of his bath crying 'Eureka, Eureka."'
