ABSTRACT
Introduction A hall becomes multi-use through the use of adjustable acoustic systems both on stage and in the hall. The physical systems described in this chapter control reverberation time (RT), reflection patterns, and loudness. Systems have tried to manipulate volume, but the best tools for the acoustician are absorptive treatments such as drapes, panels, and banners.
