ABSTRACT
Adaptive optics is a scientic and engineering discipline whereby the performance of an optical signal is improved by using information about the environment through which it passes. The optical signal can be a laser beam or a light that eventually forms an image. The principles used to extract that information and apply the correction in a controlled manner make up the content of this book.
