ABSTRACT
The interaction of infrared radiation with electrons results in several photoeffects such as: photoconductive, photovoltaic, photoelectromagnetic, Dember, and photon drag. Based on these photoeffects, different types of detectors have been of interest, but only photoconductive and photovoltaic (p-n junction and Schottky barrier) detectors have been widely exploited.
