ABSTRACT
Helical tomotherapy is the combination of an intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) device and a helical computed tomography (CT) scanner. Figure 4.1 contains diagrams of the main components of the machine, which is commercialized as the Hi-Art• Helical Tomotherapy machine (Tomoerapy, Madison, WI).
