ABSTRACT
Radiation oncology processes require information to manage a patient’s treatment appropriately. The information can be part of a pool of experience derived from the literature and from clinical trial databases. This information can drive the determination of the treatment strategy, and it dictates the information remaining to be gathered through imaging, treatment planning, and treatment delivery.
