ABSTRACT
This chapter explores aspects of quality within medical informatics environments including the differentiators between Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Improvement, and use cases in the context of Radiation Oncology and the ROIS. We evaluate how quality controlled data affect data workflows and provide specific examples describing a typical ROIS data QA process.
