ABSTRACT
The physical and mathematical factors affecting CBCT imaging performance present a broad space of parameters, including factors of CBCT system design (e.g., system geometry, focal spot size, and detector size), acquisition “technique factors” [e.g., peak kilovoltage (kVp), milliamperesseconds (mAs), and number of projection views], and 3D image reconstruction parameters (e.g., selection of voxel size and reconstruction filter).
