ABSTRACT
Various histological and genetic biomarkers are currently utilized for cancer diagnostics and treatment; however, conventional biopsy and histology methods are invasive and time consuming. Autouorescence spectroscopy and imaging techniques provide an alternative approach with major advantages of minimum-or noninvasiveness and the capacity to obtain real-time information about tumor heterogeneity and metastasis.
