ABSTRACT
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were discovered in 1991, soon after the successful laboratory synthesis of fullerenes. Since that time, there has been an intensive research activity, not only because of their fascinating structural features and electronic, mechanical, and thermal properties but also because of their potential technological applications.
