ABSTRACT
It is known that the foundation design of conventional buildings consists of two main components:
• The safety and service verification of the soil where the building is embedded • The safety and service verification of the structural members of the foundation
It should be noted from the beginning that the building material of foundations has basically been reinforced concrete for almost the past 100 years, no matter what the building material of the superstructure has been.
