ABSTRACT
For the user of a sensory report, the most important considerations are how much confidence he or she can place in the report and whether or not the important information can be extracted. Many factors determine this (Larmond, 1981):
1. Reliability: Would similar results be obtained if the test were repeated with the same panelists? With different panelists?
