ABSTRACT

All of those disciplines, even the supporting mechanisms for the organization are implicated, so too with the associated change management. Recently, Jon Quigley had the occasion to purchase a car at a dealership. His General Motors Corporation (GMC) “Jimmy” had more than 250,000 miles on it and the cost of operation exceeded the rationale point of fixing. While in the showroom, he noticed a rather large flat-screen monitor promoting the company’s product line. It was touchscreen so he navigated through the material with his son. His son noticed a button and activated the function associated with it. To their surprise, they found the identification information for the information platform, as shown in Figure 4.1, and a direct link to the CM of the product.
