ABSTRACT
We begin this chapter by reviewing digital painting strategies, then we provide in-depth coverage of algorithms designed to simulate brushstrokes, mediums such as paper or canvas, fluid flow, and pigment distribution. Techniques for both simulated oil painting and water color are discussed.
