ABSTRACT
In the following we will consider signals (or processes) in discrete time {xt; t = 0,±1, . . . } and in continuous time {x(t);−∞ ≤ t ≤ ∞}. In practical situations discrete signals are often a result of continuous signals being sampled, and this will be discussed later in this chapter.
