ABSTRACT
As the co-founder of Lupus Health Shop, Qadri is an advocate for better treatment of women patients. As a sufferer of several autoimmune diseases, she describes in this essay instances of struggling with the care she received during her own health journey and her motivation for wanting to improve communicative relationships between doctors and patients.
