ABSTRACT

Innovation and entrepreneurship play to the American national religion of Darwinism: that if you aren’t changing/evolving, you deserve to die out. The value placed on discovering new ideas, failing fast and often, is the lifeblood of US business. And there’s an ecosystem to support those innovators and entrepreneurs whether they’re inside or outside a corporation. It’s fed not least by proximity to sources of innovative practices and ideas, supportive corporate cultures, new business models, suppliers, funders and advisors. We celebrate the heroes behind the innovation with case studies, money and analysis to see how we each can replicate their success.
