ABSTRACT

Scientific communication is extremely important if we are to share the results, conclusions and information we have derived from our work. The two main forms of scientific communication are written publications and oral presentations. An oral presentation can be a daunting challenge. The skills required are seldom inherited and sometimes the standard of presentation is poor. However, presentation skills can be learned and then consolidated by practice and rehearsal. Good presentation will not only improve the dissemination of your results but will also enhance your reputation.
