ABSTRACT

A 61-year-old patient with severe systemic hypertension and severe coronary artery disease treated with multiple stenting presented with an abdominal aortic aneurysm. The baseline aortogram (Figure 21.1) showed an aneurysm of the abdominal aorta which extends to the iliac arteries. The important features of this angiogram are (1) the size of the aorta at the infrarenal neck is large (24 mm) and (2) the neck below the renal arteries is very short (9 mm).
