ABSTRACT

A 77-year-old man presented 1 month after abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair using an Ancure endograft with rest pain and absent lower extremity (LE) pulses.

Angiography revealed thrombosed endograft (Figure 23.1). Successful thrombectomy of the endograft with reconstitution of the arterial flow (Figure 23.2) was achieved with Angiojet Xpeedior (Figure 23.3) catheter. The cause of thrombosis was kinking and external compression of the iliac limbs. This problem was corrected with repeat angioplasty and re-stenting of the iliac limbs.
