ABSTRACT

A 70-year-old man presents with a 3-day history of left calf pain with coldness and cyanosis of the left foot. He underwent aortobifemoral bypass grafting 5 years ago; 7 months ago he underwent left femoropopliteal bypass grafting with synthetic graft material, which 2 months later required surgical thrombectomy and revision of the distal anastomosis for thrombotic occlusion. Two months before this admission, the femoropopliteal bypass graft had failed again and he underwent a left femoroposterior tibial bypass with a saphenous vein graft.
