Environment and public health: Looking for new risk assessment tools A framework for decision support on HSE regulations

In 2004 the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) initiated a project to address these issues, with the aim of obtaining a better understanding of what should be the justification for HSE regulation and what concerns that should be taken into account, and how these should be evaluated and weighted (SEROS 2004). This paper summarises some of the main findings of this project.
