The soil contamination with cadmium after applications of sewage sludge

There are many papers dealing with the use of different kinds of plants with higher content of sulphur substances for reducing concentration of heavy metals in contaminated soils. (Brown, 1995; Salt et al. 1995; Schnoor et al. 1995). Thus the potential risk for the plants and the heavy metal migration to the environment can be reduced under these conditions.
