ABSTRACT
Existing road bridges are gradually deteriorating due to the effects of various adverse factors having significant impact to their reliability. Many existing small-size or medium-size concrete bridges cause currently significant problems in the Czech Republic as in abroad. Actual technical conditions and load-bearing capacity of existing bridges need to be evaluated to make decision concerning their further use.
