ABSTRACT

The fuel rig system symbolizes the functioning of a real aircraft system. The aim of a fuel system in an aircraft is to supply the engines with fuel at all phases of the flight.

The fuel rig system complies of three fuel tanks: a wing, collector and a main tank. Fuel is fed from both the main and the wing tank into the collector tank, and, from the collector tank, it is pumped into the engine. Figure 1 show a schematic of the system.
