ABSTRACT
The barrelled shell is described by two principal radii of curvature, these are: meridional R1 and circumferential R2. The shell is defined in a curvilinear coordinate system (θ, ϕ) directions of which coincide with directions of the principal curvatures of the shell (see Fig. 1).
