ABSTRACT
Self compacted concrete (SCC) is a fluid concrete that is compacted at maximum possible density under its ownweight and it is self finished. The SCCmain characteristic is workability, measured by its flowability, viscosity, passing ability and segregation resistance. Self compacting concrete has generated a great interest since its initial development in Japan (Okamura & Ozawa1995; Okamura1997; Okamura&Ouchi 2003).
