ABSTRACT
Examination of concrete cast into the slab showed that concrete satisfied, even surpassed the requested 40 MPa, achieving more than 50 MPa and the required characteristics (hardness, frost resistance). It was determined that the quality and the compaction of concrete had not been an issue, but the fact that it had not been cast into the entire cross-section of the formwork. These tests and calculation simulations showed that the structure had the required degree of safety, that structural integrity of the structure had not been jeopardised and that it was solely necessary to repair the protective layer of the reinforcement.
