ABSTRACT

Since the different creep characteristics of CFT from those of ordinary concrete, many experimental and theoretical studies have been conducted in order to understand this long term behavior of CFT members and structures. This paper outlines the studies on the creep of CFT by reviewing the work on experiments, theories, and predictive models for the creep of CFT members and the analytical efforts on the creep effects on CFT structures. The major achievements in the study on the creep of CFT members and structures are presented, and the further studies on the creep of CFT are prospected.
