ABSTRACT: The aim of the investigations presented here was to examine effects of the powder and coarseparticle contents on creep and shrinkage of self-compacting concrete (SCC), as well as the effects of viscosity agents that are often required for SCC. In the course of the investigations it could be demonstrated that neither the creep nor the shrinkage deformation is significant affected by the type and dosage of the viscosity agent. Limestone powder was found to impede deformation in the same way as sand and aggregate.
