ABSTRACT
In this chapter are included a variety of abnormalities in which hair is obviously less than normal or is shed in greater than normal quantities with or without overt thinning. Many structural entities described here may have normal amounts of hair or not, depending on a variety of secondary factors, e.g. excessive weathering.
