ABSTRACT

This chapter will operate under the assumption that it has already been decided that you can qualify to testify under the standards used in the jurisdiction, for example, under the test of Daubert v.Merrill Dow Pharmaceuticals, 1993, in the United States federal courts. What we will discuss in this chapter is how to organize your testimony, prepare exhibits and use illustrative materials, and make a good impression on the fact finder. We will also discuss some things to watch out for on cross-examination.
