ABSTRACT
Use of fine needle aspiration (FNA) will provide immediate knowledge of whether a palpable mass is cystic or solid. A cyst that contains non-bloody fluid, completely resolves with aspiration, and does not recur, is benign and does not need to be removed (Figure 5.1).
