ABSTRACT

One of our clients describes dynamic models as being like chocolate chip cookies, strange as that may sound. Both are visually appealing, but the best results come when quality ingredients are used and care is taken to measure and add those ingredients appropriately. Good data are the flour, sugar, vanilla, and chocolate for a dynamic model; this chapter will show how key data ingredients are often found, collected, measured, and incorporated. Like a great batch of warm cookies, the results of applying a solid data foundation to the Standard Template are often more than the sum of the parts.
