ABSTRACT
An ethical hack is the culmination of many activities resulting in the documentation of actions taken, their results, and recommendations. Many companies look to ethical hacking as an assessment service to gain better insight into their security posture. However, it can be just the beginning of establishing a comprehensive security program. Armed with information about the shortcomings of the environment, a company is well positioned to make good use of the results.
