ABSTRACT

In solving the problem of how to maximally satisfy the material and spiritual needs of humankind, a large role is assigned to science. The thesis that science has become an industrial force is well known. When characterising the economy of one or another country or region, people talk about scientifically charged technologies (i.e., when production and competitiveness is directly connected to the level of science). Scientifically charged technologies include the production of microelectronic circuits and their application in computational and information technology, or the production of pharmaceutical preparations using genetic engineering. The list could be continued endlessly.
