ABSTRACT
There are many benefits from the use of rubber dam: • To prevent the accidental aspiration or swallowing of instruments, irrigants, fragments
of tooth and restorative materials. Practitioners who do not use rubber dam could be considered negligent and place themselves at risk of litigation should an accident occur.
